How are you going to drink your coffee like that… just like that, without bread! If you’re also a fan of a conchita chopeada, you can’t miss the first edition of the Mexican Sweet Bread Festival. This event is coming to the southern part of Mexico City with a ton of delicious treats.
Via its Instagram account, the National Chamber of the Bakery Industry (CANAINPPA) confirmed the rumors: there will indeed be a bread festival!
The purpose of this first edition is to celebrate the cultural heritage of bread in Mexico, so you’ll be able to sample artisanal creations from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p. m. Admission is free, so don’t hesitate to invite your favorite donalover .
This culinary event will take place from September 11 to 13 at Utopía Coyoacán Elena Poniatowska Amor, located at Av. Miguel Hidalgo 128, San Lucas, in the Coyoacán borough.
Remember that Utopía Coyoacán recently opened, so this festival is the perfect excuse to check it out; you’ll find an immersive museum dedicated to the artists Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera, a bookstore, outdoor forums, and more. Are you up for it?
