A little more than two hours from Mexico City is Mineral del Chico, a magical town in the state of Hidalgo, which stands out not only for its gastronomy, but also for its green areas and rock formations that allow activities such as mountain biking, zip-lining, rappelling, climbing and more.
Additionally, it has several hanging bridges that allow you to see the area from the heights and surround yourself with nature. Visiting them at any time is incredible, but we recommend you do it at night, because that is when each bridge is filled with light.
How to visit the illuminated bridges of Mineral del Chico?
There are several options. Ejido El Puente has an illuminated bridge and is 10 minutes from downtown Mineral del Chico, Hidalgo. You can get there directly in your car or rent 4×4 transportation that will take you there.
It is 130 meters long and more than 140 meters high. If you are not afraid of heights, this attraction is for you. The cost of access to the bridges is approximately $250 per person (transportation not included).
In the case of H-Go Adventures, seven suspension bridges are covered in about an hour and a half. They are 15 minutes from the center of this magical town. The tour is available every day starting at 7:00 pm. The approximate cost is $400. Reservations are required.
