You will discover from legends to various secrets of our natural satellite! Next Sunday, July 20, the Moon Day Festival will be held at the Luis Enrique Erro Planetarium. There will be workshops, telescope observations and more free activities.
The festival will start at 11:00 am and will conclude at 4:00 pm. We recommend you to go early so you can enjoy everything there will be. Remember that this planetarium is located on Wilfrido Massieu Avenue S/N, in the municipality of Gustavo A. Madero.
What will be at the Moon Day 2025 Festival?
Throughout the event you will enjoy different activities, such as a photographic exhibition about the Moon. Although our natural satellite is the protagonist of the festival, you will also be able to observe the Sun and even detect sunspots.
Throughout the day there will be solar observation in the back garden of the venue, as well as the use of telescopes. In the esplanade you will be able to use binoculars and learn more about the Moon.
At 2:00 p.m. there will be a talk about the legends about the Moon in the back garden of the planetarium. Also, at 12:00 and 14:00 hours you will discover more about the effects of the Moon on our planet.
Of course there will be music. At 2:00 pm there will be a concert with Erick Bonilla in the esplanade of the planetarium. This is just a small taste of everything that will be there. Here is the complete program.
