In esplanades, streets, shopping malls and parks we will find many Christmas trees in CDMX. However some are more impressive than others either by their size or design. Here we bring you eight that you can’t miss this 2023.
1. Palacio de Hierro Polanco
Outside Palacio de Hierro Polanco you will find a huge golden tree, which can be enjoyed both day and night. Also, if you’re looking to take Christmas photos, be sure to stop by the Christmas Selfie Experience, a free space located inside the establishment.

2. Mitikah
This huge tree is surrounded by thousands of lights, creating an unmissable Christmas atmosphere. There are even artificial snowfalls, just as you read! These snowy spectacles occur from Thursday to Sunday at 16:00, 18:00 and 20:00. Get your camera ready because you will take amazing pictures.

3. Suburbano
Next station: one of the Christmas trees in CDMX that you must see. It’s huge, full of lights and ideal for taking pictures both day and night. Next time you’re in the area, don’t hesitate to stop by and see it.

4. Christmas trees at the Zócalo
Since a couple of years ago, the monumental tree is no longer placed in the Zócalo. In its place is installed the Christmas verbena. In it you will find three large trees which are composed of nochebuenas, characteristic flower of this Christmas season. This year’s verbena starts on December 16 and has free admission.

5. Antara Fashion Hall
The entire decoration of this mall is one of the most beautiful in the whole city. And of course their Christmas tree couldn’t be left out of this listing. It is completely golden and stands tall, in the center of the main aisle. In addition, it matches perfectly with the light guides and the huge spheres hanging from the top.

6. Galerias Coapa
Here you will find at least two trees: a large one outside and one inside that is made up of letters. Both are surrounded by Christmas lights and other decorations.

7. Four Seasons

8. Tree of Tláhuac
This tree is huge and the best thing is that it does not come alone, because around it there are spots to take Christmas photos and even a train ideal for the little ones in the family. The event is free.

9. Tepeyac Park
Let’s close this count of Christmas trees in CDMX with a flourish. In this mall you will also see a huge tree full of light, which is accompanied by Christmas figures. You can even see Santa Claus.

10. Galerias Insurgentes
The giant pine tree, which contrasts perfectly with the arches on the roof of this mall, is ideal for your selfies this season. For an extra cost, you can take a picture with Santa Claus or the Three Wise Men, with a super-Christmas decoration in the background. Your little ones will be the happiest posing next to the mailbox or the penguins.
