November is almost here and it will start with an event in which we will see a Mozart opera in concert at Cenart. There will only be one performance, so keep an eye on all the details so you don’t miss it.
Bastian and Bastiana is an opera full of love affairs. According to a bulletin from the Centro Nacional de las Artes (Cenart), this opera was composed by Mozart in 1768, when he was only 12 years old.
On stage you will see singers Edgar Villalba, Sofía Ramírez and Alejandro Paz. The show will be stage directed by Oswaldo Martín del Campo.
When will Mozart’s opera be presented in concert at Cenart?
The first thing you should know is that there will only be one performance. It will take place next Thursday, November 6 at 6:30 pm. The venue will be the Blas Galindo Auditorium of Cenart (av. Río Churubusco 79, Country Club, Coyoacán).
The pieces of this emblematic opera will be performed by the Orquesta Sinfónica del Estado de México, conducted by Rodrigo Macías. Admission is free, so try to arrive well in advance to get a seat.
Boys and girls can also attend; just keep in mind that the concert is suitable for children over 8 years old. It is worth mentioning that this concert is part of the 153rd season of the orchestra. Start the month of November with lots of music.
