January 2026 Museum Night is finally here! This first edition of 2026 kicks off with a host of surprises: from concerts to dance performances.
We have gathered some of the best activities in the program for this Wednesday, January 28. We can tell you in advance that you will have an experience that will stimulate your most creative and sensitive side.

Free admission
The Site Museum joins the list with an activity called “Coffee Can Save Mexico,” in which attendees can taste coffee.
There will also be jazz, fandango, and the presentation of the book La comuna de Xalapa. Una experiencia ciudadana (The Xalapa Commune: A Citizen Experience) by Laura Sarvide.
We recommend arriving early, as space is limited.

Get ready to hit the dance floor! This gallery will host a sonidero dance, which will celebrate the city’s culture alongside the exhibition Signs Must Not Die.
There will be screenings and the stellar presence of sign painters. Bring your dance partner! Just remember to arrive early so you don’t miss any of the surprises.

The real sleepover is here! Once again, Franz joins the list with a super fun activity, this time with pajamas as the dress code.
Put on your onesie or bunny pajamas and don’t forget to bring your blanket, because there will be a pajama party with skincare, a demonstration, gossip about art, board games, movies, pop music, and much more.
Museum of the Inquisition

General admission $350 and $320 for teenagers aged 10 to 14 and INAPAM members.
Dare to experience an evening full of mystery with “Condenadas” (Damned), a theatrical tour where you will discover terrifying legends that arose around the Inquisition.

Kaluz Museum

The Kaluz Museum will pull out all the stops with activities celebrating the first Museum Night of the year.
Here you will discover the exhibition El jardín de Velasco (Velasco’s Garden) through a concert-meditation with plants. You will contemplate the plant world through sounds!
We recommend arriving early, as there is limited capacity for 300 people.
Living Museum of Muralism

If you are not yet familiar with this museum, we recommend joining this event, which will offer a special tour called “Photos and Murals, Captured Realities.” Space is limited to 60 people, so we recommend arriving early; it begins at 5:00 p.m.
One of the most anticipated activities is “Moulin Rouge: Vintage New Year’s Dances. “ The Ibero-American Hall of the venue will be filled with glamour with the iconic Parisian cabaret.
Contemporary Mexico Cultural Center

In an evening full of exhibitions, performances, and music, a dance show is a must, and this is a splendid option.
“Luciferina” is the performance that the CCMC Contemporary Dance Club has prepared for you. There is room for 350 people.

The beginning of the year is the best time to clear your mind and start without pressure. We know that there are many ways to achieve spiritual harmony and physical tranquility, but none like Mystika.
This experience is part of January’s Museum Night with special activities, such as a guided visualization practice and a live sound concert.
All amid video and audio projections that recreate natural landscapes, such as the monarch butterfly sanctuary. You will travel from the ocean to the jungle with the help of technology and digital tools.
This set of elements will guide you to a place of peace and inner discovery.

If you enjoy old music, this option is for you. This concert will be a journey through time, from the 1950s to the 1990s.
The band El Portal will be responsible for a moment full of nostalgia, performing legendary songs by the Beatles and the Rolling Stones, among others. Keep in mind that the capacity is 150 people.
Manuel Tolsá Museum

This venue joins January’s Museum Night with a musical experience that blends Mexican and Latin American folklore with classical music.
All through a saxophone concert by the Sax Son quartet! Keep in mind that space is limited to 200 people.
Former Convent of Culhuacán

Do you dare to tour this former convent at night? This 16th-century site will offer a guided tour, as well as a music, dance, and visual projection show.
The atmosphere will be a mix of surrealism and mysticism, ideal for experiencing something different in the first month of 2026. Please note that capacity is limited to 60 people.
Tequila and Mezcal Museum

Sing El último trago or Camino de Guanajuato at the top of your lungs! This museum in Garibaldi will pay tribute to José Alfredo Jiménez himself, in addition to offering a guided tour of the premises.
