Museum Night in May 2026 is almost here!
This Wednesday, the 27th, an evening full of activities awaits us, ranging from opera and jazz to a cowboy-themed program and a soccer match in the Historic Center.
Simi Casa

You’re wrong if you think you have nowhere to show off your cowboy boots and hat, because Simi Casa is hosting an event called “Simi Rodeo: Wild West Night.”
In addition to guided tours of the venue, you can ride the mechanical bull or test your aim in games of skill, as well as other cowboy-themed activities.
Please note that capacity is limited to 350 people, so we recommend arriving early.

The Historic Center will be painted in colors with the “Oaxacan Calenda Night,” where you’ll enjoy a textile gala as well as a musical performance by Italú Ñuu savi. If you want to learn more about the traditions and culture of this southern state, go for this option. Remember that space is limited to 200 people.

To celebrate the opening of the BioDiseño MX: Living Territories exhibition, the Franz will host an evening featuring guided tours and special activities such as a scavenger hunt, painting with natural pigments, drink and draw, as well as a DJ set by Chromatik Project. If you show up in a funky outfit, you can get 2-for-1 tickets.

This beautiful venue in the Historic Center will host an Opera Gala featuring two sopranos and a pianist. The recital will blend with the Palace’s architecture, creating a truly magical evening. Please note that capacity is limited to 100 people.
Luis Enrique Erro Planetarium

For May’s Museum Night, this venue has prepared a children’s program that combines astronomy with soccer.
The program features not only guided tours and stargazing with telescopes, but also workshops for painting your own soccer ball and linocut printing—an activity that blends the cosmos with soccer through art. Please note that each activity has limited space.
Azcapotzalco Lighthouse

This edition of Museum Night comes to the screens at Faro Azcapotzalco with screenings of various documentaries: *En esta casa hay arte*, *La importancia de llamarse Murcia*, *Lo que nos toca*, *Olvidé mis sueños en el recreo*, and *Tochan* are the films you’ll be able to watch on a five-meter screen. Remember that capacity is limited to 100 people.
El Rulé Cultural Center

“Night of Many Signs” is the event taking place at El Rulé, where you’ll take a journey through the history and significance of signs in Mexican culture. In addition to viewing an exhibition on sign painting, there will be talks with designers and urban artists.
Perfume Museum

If you want to awaken your sense of smell, join the MUPE program, which includes an olfactory tasting called “Movie Moms,” a workshop to create your own skincare kit, and a performance by the all-female mariachi group Amazonas. Please note that each activity has a different cost.
Postal Palace

If music is your thing, don’t miss Pelirroja, a jazz concert featuring Adrián Terrazas, Joshua Pardiño, and Rodrigo Gómez—artists who will bring one of the city’s most beautiful buildings to life. Please note that capacity is limited to 100 people.

There will be a couple of free dramatized tours at this venue; you’ll learn about the history of the Mexican Revolution through the voice of an iconic character. Each tour has a capacity of 50 people, so we recommend arriving early.
But if you missed out, don’t worry—heading up to the Monument’s observation deck is also a great plan. You’ll take a panoramic elevator, explore the interior of the structure, and enjoy a drink at the café while taking in one of the most beautiful views of our city. This activity costs $170, but there are discounts available through the Hot Sale.
Mining Palace

The Palacio de la Autonomía, in the Historic Center, is opening the exhibition “The Ball Belongs to Them Too: Women in Soccer,” featuring activities such as soccer shooting and even a pickup game. Capacity is limited to 200 people.
Mexico City Museum

An evening full of roars is coming to the Mexico City Museum, which is inviting attendees to show off their dinosaur costumes.
The venue’s program includes a dramatized tour as well as a book presentation. Please note that admission is without registration and capacity is limited to 200 people.
Javier Villaurrutia Cultural Center

El Divo de Juárez will be honored with a show in Mexican Sign Language, so the songs will be interpreted through movements, emotions, and gestures.
This event is free and does not require prior registration; however, please note that space is limited to 50 people, so we recommend arriving early.
Casa del Risco Museum

The Baroque Ensemble of the School of Fine Arts at the Universidad Panamericana will be coming to Casa del Risco to present a beautiful concert.
If you’re looking for musical activities for May’s Museum Night, you’re sure to love this option. Just remember that capacity is limited to 80 people, who must register at contacto@museocasadelrisco.org.mx.
