If you enjoy mystery stories, nighttime tours, and discovering another side of the city, set aside the evening of July 31. A “Night of Legends” will take place in the Historic Center—a guided walking tour that combines folk tales, historical events, and some of the most iconic sites in the capital’s historic district.
For approximately two hours, participants will tour various sites in the Historic Center while learning stories that have been passed down from generation to generation. The route is designed for those who enjoy the city’s most enigmatic side, without neglecting the historical context of each site.
What places will you visit during the tour?
The tour begins at the Mexico City Museum and includes exterior visits to several historic buildings, including the Plaza de la Constitución, the Parish Church of Jesús Nazareno, the Hospital de Jesús—considered the oldest hospital in the Americas—the famous Casa de Don Juan Manuel, and the Church of San Bernardo.
Throughout the tour, legends related to these sites will be shared, along with historical facts about figures and events that shaped the history of Mexico City. All stops will take place outside the buildings.
