We all want to take care of our money, but we often have little time to organize a savings plan. Sometimes there is not enough time to compare the prices of items in our pantry. If you have a limited budget, check out Quién es Quién en los Precios, a Profeco program where you can check the prices of basic products, as well as the supermarkets where they are located.
The search is conducted through the website https://qqp.profeco.gob.mx/ and is free of charge. You do not need to register.
How to use Who’s Who in Prices?
- First, select your city.
- In the search bar, type the name of the product you are interested in. For example: milk, tortillas, eggs, toilet paper, pasta, etc. Then, click on the magnifying glass symbol.
- The server will display a list of brands, prices, and the address of the supermarket where that item is located.
- Filter your search by city or municipality to find the supermarkets closest to you.
- When you find the product you want to buy, check the box; the product will be automatically added to your list.
- When you are finished, click on “View my list” to see the price you will pay.
- You can download your list in PDF format or send it to your email address.

Please note that this Profeco service only helps you plan your budget and find out the prices of products, so you cannot buy from the website.
