
This Saturday, April 19, the CDMX Judas Burning 2025 will take place! Devils made of cardboard will go from Santa María la Ribera to the Museo del Pulque y las Pulquerías. It will be a memorable spectacle, the perfect plan if you don’t know what to do during Holy Week.
This event is part of the Festival de la Cartonería 2025, which celebrates its 13th edition. The activities will take place from April 17 to Sunday, April 20 at the Kiosko Morisco. There will be live music, workshops and exhibition of pieces made by the Colectivo Cartoneros de la Ciudad de México.
Please note that the activities have costs ranging from $50 to $200 and will take place at different times.
What time does the monumental Judas parade start?
Among the most awaited activities is the Burning of Judas, a parade led by giant figures and a commemorative show; it will take place on Saturday, April 19. The meeting point is the Kiosko Morisco at 17:00, while the caravan leaves at 18:00. Here is the map:
The parade will end at the Museo del Pulque y las Pulquerías located at 📍 Av. Hidalgo 107-109, Guerrero. If you have not yet experienced a Quema de Judas, this 2025 is the perfect time to join in this party that will travel through the main streets of the CDMX.
