Did you know that in Mexico alone, the donut dolls are almost 17 tons of plastic that go straight to the garbage? We know, it sounds alarming, but don’t worry! You can do something about it and here we have all the details.
The donut dolls are an ideal opportunity to recycle, since they are made of a type of plastic called HDPE (high density polyethylene), popularly known as plastic number 5. This is the same as the plastic used for bottle caps and some bottles, so it is easily recyclable in Mexico.
Where to recycle the rosca de reyes dolls?
