The city’s biggest dance floor is about to open! The big spring sonidero dance party will take place this weekend in Mexico City’s Zócalo, and here are the schedules, lineup, and everything you need to know before joining this high-energy mega-party.
This Saturday, March 21, Spring Night 2026 will be celebrated at various locations throughout the city, including the Monument to the Revolution and Bellas Artes, among other venues. Various artists, groups, and performances will welcome the new season with the best atmosphere.
La Plancha del Zócalo is not left off the list; this is where the fourth edition of the Gran Baile de Sonideros y Sonideras will be held. The event will begin at 11:30 a.m. and end around midnight. It will be more than 12 hours of pure dancing!
The atmosphere will be shaped by sounds from different generations, so you’ll discover new projects as well as established acts with extensive experience. Such is the case with Sonido Cóndor, who will be the event’s guest of honor.
