They’ve already changed! If you plan to visit the Archaeological Zone of Teotihuacan this 2026, take into account that the entrance fees have increased, although the opening hours remain the same.
This site is open every day of the year, from 🕛8 :00 to 17:00 hours(the archaeological zone). The last entrance is at 4:30 pm.
Consider that the museum hours are from 🕛 9:00 to 16:30 hours.
Costs
General admission costs $105 for Mexicans, residents or with Mexican nationality, who must present some accreditation. The cost for foreign visitors is $210.
Admission is free for people with disabilities, teachers and students with a valid ID and those over 60 years of age with INAPAM.
These new rates apply from January 1, 2026.

Guide to get there from CDMX
How to get there by car
Take the Mexico-Pachuca highway and then the Ecatepec-Pirámides highway. The estimated time to get there, from downtown Mexico City, is 45 minutes, but it may vary depending on the starting point and schedule.
The Teotihuacan Archaeological Zone has a parking lot, which has an additional cost.
How to get there by public transportation from Mexico City
There are several ways to get there by public transportation; one of the easiest is to go to the Potrero station of the Metro (Line 3). Then, take the Potrero-Apan bus and get off at the Mexico-Tulancingo highway, at the C. de la Estación avenue.
You will have to walk about six minutes to the archaeological zone. Keep in mind that this way you could take more than an hour and a half.
