We’ll take you deep inside the Metropolitan Cathedral and even visit a space in Chapultepec Forest with zip lines and a mirror maze. Who’s ready for adventure? It’s worth mentioning that the experiences are not ranked; they are all equally incredible.

In addition to the Castle, the Lakes, and its museums, Chapultepec Forest has a must-see place called the Garden of Mirrors. It is right in front of the Zoo exit and has various attractions.
In the glass maze, you’ll have a lot of fun looking for the exit. In another room, you’ll find several mirrors that will transform your reflection. There’s also a carousel and a room dedicated to Mexican legends.
If you like extreme thrills, we highly recommend going on the zip line, which you can access via a suspension bridge. There is one for children and one for adults and children. Just keep in mind that children must be at least 1.10 meters tall and 5 years old to ride the small zip line and 1.50 meters tall for the large one.
The cost varies depending on the activity you want to do. All experiences cost $35 each, except for the carousel, which costs $45, and the zip line, which costs $70. There are also packages ranging from $90 to $145 per person.

The Palacio de Bellas Artes offers guided tours from Tuesday to Friday where you will learn all the secrets of the building. We highly recommend going on the Friday tour, as it is more extensive, while on other days you will only see the Main Hall.
On the Friday tour, you’ll be taken through the dressing rooms and even get a close-up look at Tiffany’s Crystal Curtain. Wear comfortable clothes because the activity lasts just over an hour.
Tours from Tuesday to Thursday are at 1:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m., while Friday’s tour starts at 1:00 p.m. Please note that you must register on site starting at 12:00 p.m. Space is limited to 60 people.
And to complement your experience, be sure to visit Finca Don Porfirio, a café located right in front of Bellas Artes. Its terrace offers a panoramic view of this iconic site in Mexico City. Just be aware that it gets very crowded on weekends.

Kayaking in Xochimilco

Most of us have taken a ride on the trajineras in Xochimilco, but have you been on a kayak tour? It’s a unique spectacle where you can see the sunrise or sunset in a different way.
But that’s not all. The organizers also offer tours that will take you through iconic spaces along these canals, such as the Castle of Xochimilco. Best of all, it’s pet-friendly, so you can bring your pets along. You can book your visit through their social media accounts.
