Now pay close attention, we’ll tell you a secret that almost nobody knows! The Palace of Fine Arts has free entrance guided tours.
In these guided tours you can visit the main hall, the glass curtain with the image of the volcanoes, the stage, the dressing rooms, the make-up and wardrobe area, the Apollo stained glass window with the Muses of the arts, the official boxes and the terraces of the Palace of Fine Arts.
You will learn different anecdotes and stories that have happened in these same corridors of the cultural precinct, the names of the different personalities that have crossed the doors of the marble colossus and more.
How can you take the guided tours of the Palace of Fine Arts?
It is important to know that you can take two guided tours: One that takes you to the Main Hall, and a special tour that also takes you through the dressing rooms of the Main Hall.
The tours that take you through the Main Hall can be taken from Tuesday to Friday at 1:00 pm and 1:30 pm. It is important to know that you must register 15 minutes beforehand.
The special backstage tour of the Main Hall takes place only on Fridays at 1:00 p.m. and you can register beforehand starting at 12:00 p.m.
Remember that the guided tours are free admission and you will only have to register in advance at Modules and Information.
Both tours have a limited capacity, so we recommend you to organize your visit with a little time in advance.
