This weekend there will be a tribute to Silvia Pinal at Bellas Artes. This was announced by Mexico’s Ministry of Culture. Check out all the information about it.
On Thursday, November 28, the first actress Silvia Pinal passed away at the age of 93. Throughout her career she was not only dedicated to acting, she was also a producer, and even produced the first musical play called Ring, Ring, llama el amor.
She also worked as a businesswoman and host of different programs, including the unforgettable “Casos de la vida real” (Real Life Cases).
As for acting, she participated in plays, soap operas and countless films, such as “Viridiana”. “El ángel exterminador”, “El rey del barrio”, “El inocente” and “La soldadera”, among many others.
What is known about the tribute to Silvia Pinal at Bellas Artes?
According to the federal Ministry of Culture, the posthumous tribute will take place this Saturday, November 30 at 11:00 am.
In addition to this tribute, a retrospective is planned at the Cineteca Nacional; however, no further details about this event have been released. More information will be provided at a later date.
