A spell, a dream, and a story that awakens: this is how Sleeping Beauty will be experienced in ballet in Mexico City! This ballet classic arrives with a monumental staging that combines dance and live music.
The Philharmonic of the Arts and the Dance Company of the Arts present this new production as part of their Princess Trilogy, a series designed to reconnect us with the great stories from the stage.
Here you can enjoy Swan Lake and Cinderella, both presented in classical ballet with a live orchestra.

The work, with music by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, is based on the original libretto by Ivan Vsevolozhsky and Marius Petipa, inspired by the story published by Charles Perrault in 1697 and later revisited by the Brothers Grimm.
The result is a theatrical experience that combines tradition, elegance, and a narrative that continues to captivate generations.
This production brings together more than 40 classical, contemporary, and multidisciplinary dancers, accompanied by a live orchestra under the baton of Abraham Vélez Godoy.
The choreography is by Yohana Yáñez and Dariuzs Bladjer, while the artistic direction is by Morelia Villarino and the stage direction by Omar Olvera.
The performances will take place in the Fray Angélico Auditorium, within the University Cultural Center, an ideal venue to enjoy this type of intimate but ambitious production. Tickets are now available with prices ranging from $400 to $500 pesos.
It’s a perfect plan if you like ballet, classical music, or simply want to see a “beautiful concert” that takes you out of your routine and transports you to a fairy tale.
