If you want to avoid the crowds on your next getaway and are looking for a quiet moment of rest, the Xhandos Ajacuba Spa in Hidalgo could be your next destination. In addition to pools and public areas, this place is known for its rooms with private hot spring pools.
Amid beautiful green spaces and hot springs reaching up to 36°C, you’ll get the rest your back is crying out for. The pools here are filled with water from the Mezquital Valley. Barbecue pits, relaxation areas, and playgrounds are just some of the amenities to enjoy a weekend with your family, partner, or friends; it’s also an ideal place to spend some time alone with yourself.

Although you can visit the spa without staying overnight, we recommend spending at least one night in this paradise so you can experience its private hot spring pools, which are located inside the hotel rooms. Take relaxation to the next level with one of their massages (at an additional cost).
Accommodations are available for two to six people, ranging from $2,100 to $3,000 per night; this includes access to the spa as well as breakfast. It’s best to visit during the week, as stays from Sunday through Wednesday come with a $300 discount. Note: this does not apply on Fridays, Saturdays, or during holiday periods.
If you’d rather just stay at the spa, remember that admission for people aged 12 to 59 costs $140. Children aged 3 to 11 pay $100, and admission for people 60 and older is $80.
Please note that there is no spa service on Tuesdays and Wednesdays due to maintenance.
