If it were a regular concert, we’d only look at the setlist or when doors open. But Candlelight’s venues in Mexico City aren’t your typical spots, because at these concerts, what’s performed is just as important as where it’s performed. From the historic Gothic Chapel of the Hellenic Cultural Institute to the city’s premier venue, El Cantoral, the spaces where these evenings are held are just one of the many reasons to go to Candlelight. But here’s why.

The Gothic Chapel of the Hellenic Cultural Institute with Candlelight
The Gothic Chapel of the Hellenic Cultural Institute is a small, cozy venue steeped in history. It was built in the 14th century in Spain, and after numerous purchases and relocations, its components were shipped in two thousand boxes to our city, resulting in the iconic space it is today. And now it hosts Candlelight concerts. It is located on Av. Revolución, a short distance from San Ángel and Parque de la Bombilla, in a quiet area in the southern part of the city where cafes, theaters, and cultural venues abound to round out your outing.

Chapultepec Castle with Candlelight
Historic halls, terraces, gardens… a dreamlike setting perched atop the hill of Chapultepec Forest.
