Do you have your lightsaber ready yet? Star Wars Expo 2026 is coming to Mexico City in April . During its tenth edition, there will be everything from symphony concerts to movie screenings. Admission is free.
The first thing you need to know is that the event is organized by and for Star Wars fans. Not only will you enjoy the movies, but you’ll also hear the saga’s themes performed live and learn more about it through various talks.
When is Star Wars Expo 2026 in Mexico City?
It will take place from April 9 to 26 at the Futurama Cultural Center (Otavalo 7, corner of Av. IPN, Lindavista neighborhood, Gustavo A. Madero borough). During those dates, movies will be screened at 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM.
This film series will kick off on April 9 with “Episode I: The Phantom Menace” and conclude on April 24 with “Ahsoka.” We recommend checking the schedule before you go.
As for the lectures, they will take place on April 11, 12, and 18 at 2:00 p.m. sharp. Topics such as collecting will be explored. To bring the event to a grand close on April 26, there will be various activities, including a symphonic concert. Additionally, rock bands will perform songs from the saga.
And that’s not all—on that day, you’ll see an exhibition of collectibles and even lightsaber battles. Activities will begin at 11:00 a.m. sharp.
