Almost no one knows this, but the UNAM Botanical Garden has a shop called Tigridia—a must-visit spot for designer items and succulents of various species.
The Tigridia Store was named in honor of the beautiful Mexican Tigridia flower. When you visit, you’ll find a wide variety of items, including illustrations, books, jewelry, and design pieces.

Every Saturday in August, you can enjoy the Tigridia Market, a special event where you can meet the entrepreneurs, artists, and producers behind each project in person. Here you’ll discover everything from art and accessories to food and natural products, supporting local consumption and fair trade. The market is open from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.; admission is free.
