Utopia Ceylon will open in 2025, a new space that will have sports, health and entertainment facilities, including an ice rink to practice field hockey!
It will be located, precisely, where today is located the Deportivo Ceylan in the Azcapotzalco district. According to Mexico City authorities, this new place will seek to promote sports, culture and learning.
For this reason, it will have facilities that the community will be able to use free of charge. Although there is no exact opening date, it is estimated that the construction of this and other Utopias will be completed in December 2025.
In addition to the ice rink, the Ceylon Utopia in Azcapotzalco will have all of this
Ice skating will not be the only attraction of the place. Ceylan will have a tennis court, adapted sports for people with disabilities, a semi-Olympic swimming pool and an athletics track. As for the ice rink: figure skating and field hockey will be practiced.
On the other hand, there will be a care center for children between 6 months and 6 years old, a home for the elderly, specialized medical care, rehabilitation and medical laboratory, as well as a community dining room. Women will be able to relax in spa sessions!
Entertainment will be concentrated in an auditorium where movies and plays will be presented. It will have a capacity for 400 people.
It should be noted that each Utopia has a different focus, depending on the location where it is located. Utopia Ceylon will be dedicated to the study of science and technology, so there will be a robotics school.
