As you well know, in a few weeks, the Paris 2024 Olympic Games will begin. In Mexico City, there will be a couple of sporting activities to celebrate. At the end of June , you will be able to participate in a walk on Paseo de la Reforma for the Olympics. Take a look at the details.
At a press conference, it was explained that this walk would be 2.5 kilometers long. The starting point will be the Angel of Independence; the tour will end at the Monument to the Revolution.
Organizers explained that the idea of this sporting event is to offer a taste of what the Paris 2024 Olympic Games will be like.
When will the walk on Paseo de la Reforma be held for the Olympics?
This walk will take place next Sunday, June 23rd, at 9:00 am. In order to participate, prior registration is required. Registration will be available from June 10 to 14. You should be very attentive, as the link will be published on the official networks of the Mexico City Sports Institute and the French Embassy in Mexico. A total of 2,500 people will be able to participate. The event will be free of charge.
Additionally, at the Monumento a la Revolución, there will be a sports fair, which will begin at 10:00 a.m. There will be various activities, such as a breakdance workshop and a concert featuring Ixaya, an outspoken Mexican rapper.
