Get in touch with your museums and art, because there is a new photographic exhibition where you can appreciate the dance in its different expressions. This exhibition is composed of photos selected in the 24th Latin American Cuartoscuro Photography Contest . The ticket is free, so you’ll have no excuse to miss it. 🩰
The exhibition is called “¿Bailamos?” and is made up of 52 photographs in which you will see folkloric dance, ballroom dance, ranchero, traditional dance, ballet, the dance that is organized in popular festivals, among other types of dance. 🕺🏽
You should know that this exhibition concentrates the most outstanding works of the participants in Cuartoscuro’s Latin American Photography Contest. This 2024, the contest was developed with a focus on rhythmic expressions in Mexico and Latin America.
Around 3,500 entries from states such as Chihuahua, Oaxaca, Nuevo León and Michoacán, as well as photographs from Costa Rica, Venezuela, Cuba and Guatemala, among other regions.
Get ready to appreciate the first, second and third place work. The first place went to photographer Carlos Alvar with his image showing moving bodies and scenic lights. In total you will see the work of 32 authors.
