We are just a few months away from the start of the 2026 World Cup, which will be hosted by Canada, the United States, and Mexico. As part of the activities for this sporting event, there will be a tour of the FIFA World Cup trophy.
At a press conference, the list of cities it will visit, as well as the dates, were announced. Take note!
When will the World Cup tour arrive in Mexico City?
As detailed at the press conference, the World Cup will arrive in Mexico City from June 5 to 8. We will be able to see it at Utopía Mixiuhca. But before it arrives, it will visit other cities and parts of the country:
- Guadalajara: we will be able to see the trophy from February 28 to March 2 at the Guadalajara Stadium
- León: March 4 and 5 at the Poliforum
- Veracruz: March 6 and 7 at the WTC
- Chihuahua: we will see the cup on March 9 and 10 at the Convention Center
- Querétaro: March 11 and 12 at the Convention Center
- Monterrey: March 14 to 16 at the Monterrey Stadium
- Puebla: March 18 and 19 at the Congress Center
- Mérida: March 21 and 22 at the International Congress Center
More information on how to visit will be announced at a later date. Remember that the 2026 World Cup will kick off on June 11 at the Azteca Stadium with the match between Mexico and South Africa.
