The first thing you need to know is that this videomapping show will be projected on the National Palace building and the Metropolitan Cathedral from July 11 to 27, 2025. The projection is accompanied by music, animation and lights, which will take you on a 700-year journey through the history of Mexico City.
According to a bulletin from the Mexico City Government, this show starts with the migration from Aztlan and addresses different historical moments of the CDMX, such as the inauguration of the Metro and the Independence of Mexico, for example.
You will even see different characters, from Pedro Infante and Cantinflas to Juan Gabriel, Frida Kahlo and Elena Poniatowska. The show is free and takes place during the evenings.
