We’re getting closer and closer to the Day of the Dead 2026! One of the season’s most iconic figures is the catrina, so to showcase them, a spectacular fashion show will take place in Mexico City’s Historic Center. The event is called “Por amor a México” and will blend culture with makeup and design.
Get ready to appreciate the work of artists who reinterpret the iconic figure of La Catrina with a modern twist, achieving a perfect blend of tradition and contemporary style.
Each design will feature artistic costumes and makeup with an elegant touch, elevating the Day of the Dead to a sophisticated visual language. In addition, the evening will include music and dance to enrich this theatrical narrative.
The evening will be filled with great talent, featuring special guests such as Toño Medina’s Los Chinacos, Paloma Fierro, Lolita Menchaca’s “Amo a México” Folk Ballet, Fabián Flores’s Mariachi Lira de Oro, and the Grupo Voz de México. The entire event will be hosted by Álvaro Cueva.
