The Day of the Dead celebration in the Venustiano Carranza municipal district is already in full swing. From October 30 to November 2, there will be various activities, such as a haunted house, free concerts, and even a pan de muerto fair.
The “Hábitat de Almas 2026” Day of the Dead celebration will kick off on Friday, October 30, on the plaza in front of the Venustiano Carranza City Hall. Activities will run through November 2, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
What’s in store for the Day of the Dead in Venustiano Carranza?
Let’s start with the music. Various artists will perform on the City Hall plaza. We’ll see:
- Los Askis: October 30
- Vandi2 Mambo: October 31
- Zalatiel MX: November 1
- Leo Romero: November 2
But there won’t just be music. Every day of the event, you can enjoy the Day of the Dead Bread Fair, where you’ll get to sample different varieties of this bread. And if horror is your thing, you’ll want to know that there will be an attraction called the “zombie hospital.”
In addition, you can visit a space called the Temple of Quetzalcóatl. The event will only last this weekend, so we recommend planning your schedule if you plan to go—especially since there will be plenty to do these days. For example, the monumental offering at the Zócalo will be unveiled on October 29, while the grand Day of the Dead 2026 parade will take place on the 31st.
