What time will the drone show take place in Chapultepec Forest for the Day of the Dead?
The festival’s social media accounts announced that this show will be presented at two different times: 7:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. We recommend arriving early so you don’t miss a thing.
It’s worth noting that this show is subject to change and weather conditions. So stay tuned to official accounts and be sure to wear comfortable, warm clothing.
Another activity you won’t want to miss at this festival is Water Lantern. This is an activity where you can write a message or a wish on a lantern and then place it in the water.
At night, you’ll see hundreds of lights illuminating Lago Mayor. This will be a special edition in celebration of the Day of the Dead. Each lantern is made of paper, an LED candle, and natural wood. All of them will be removed from the lake once the event ends.
Both admission and the activities at the Day of the Dead festival in Chapultepec Forest are free. However, if you want to launch your own floating candle at the Water Lantern Festival, you’ll need to purchase a kit. You can buy it here.
