More details you should take into account
What is the alcohol limit allowed according to the traffic regulations? The Traffic Regulation prohibits driving vehicles when there is an amount of alcohol in the blood higher than 0.8 g/lt, (8 parts of alcohol for every 10,000 parts of blood).
This is generally equivalent to two beers or two glasses of wine, although it is not a rule, as each body is different and could vary.
If you fail the test, you will be subject to a fine of 60 UMAs, which in pesos is equivalent to a fine of approximately $6,600 pesos.
In addition, your vehicle will be sent to the impound lot and you will have to serve an administrative arrest from 20 to 36 hours, without the right to bail and you will not be able to get your permanent license in CDMX.
We recommend you not to risk it and if you plan to have a couple of drinks take precautions with your means of transportation that will take you back home.
