The Bosque de San Juan de Aragón has an extension of 160 hectares and opened its doors for the first time on November 20, 1964, exactly 60 years ago!
To celebrate there will be a festival at Bosque de Aragón with many activities, such as planetarium, workshops, games and much more.
This is how they will celebrate the anniversary of Bosque de Aragón
The celebrations have already started but this weekend you will still find activities starting at 11:00 am.
On Saturday, November 23rd the event will begin with a zumba class and a presentation of the so-called Ritual de los cuatro rumbos. There will also be a lottery, boxing exhibition, dance, projection dome and a workshop to learn more about bats in Mexico City.
On Sunday, November 24, the program includes guided tours, storytelling, workshops and oral narrations.
And that’s not all, because both days there will be a planetarium and many surprises for attendees. All activities are free of charge. Come to Bosque de Aragón (José Loreto Fabela Avenue, San Juan de Aragón, in the municipality of Gustavo A. Madero) and don’t miss the celebration for its six decades of existence.
