Mexico City’s Zócalo was filled with the Christmas spirit with the traditional verbena. This year it will have different attractions, such as light tunnels, a monumental nativity scene, a book and handicrafts bazaar, free concerts and more.
Of course there will also be snow. We bring you the schedules! Get your cell phone camera ready to take amazing pictures.
What time is the snowfall at the Zócalo’s verbena?
According to information from the Secretary of Culture of Mexico City, the artificial snowfalls in the Zócalo will only occur at night, just between 18:00 and 22:00 hours.
The interval between each snowfall will be from 15 to 30 minutes approximately. So pay close attention so you don’t miss them.
The Zócalo 2024 Christmas Verbena began last December 17 and will conclude on December 30, 2024. Although it will have activities all day long, we recommend you to visit it during the night so you can enjoy all the lights, the snowfall and, of course, the decorative lighting.
Bring your best outfit to take the best Christmas pictures at the site.
