3. Christmas Verbena
The Christmas Verbena in the Zócalo adds to the list of things to do this December 25th in CDMX. Here you’ll see lights everywhere, starting with three tunnels that will make your photos the coolest. In addition to the commemorative lighting, there are artificial snowfalls that will make you feel like you’re at the North Pole. By the way, don’t miss the monumental nativity scene! ❄️

The Aztlan amusement park brought out its Christmas spirit with a festival called Christmas in the Heart. An immersive activity, photo with Santa and pastorelas are some of the shows that await you. 9. Murder for two
The last performance of this fun staging will be right on Christmas. It may not be the most Christmasy plan, but it should be a must on your list of what to do on December 25 in CDMX.
Although it has only two actors on stage, the story includes 10 characters suspected of having committed a murder. The detective must interrogate them to find the culprit, but all the narration takes place with live piano music, songs and even dancing. It is quite a spectacle.

10. KidZmas at Kidzania

13. Brilla: A Christmas in the Forest
Before you scold us: yes, this is in Edomex, not CDMX. But the truth is that the municipality of Naucalpan is close by, especially if you live in the Azapotzalco and Miguel Hidalgo districts. Besides, Christmas is one of the few days when there is no traffic in the city. If you don’t mind driving even if it’s a bit far away, in Naucalli Park there are thousands of lights and beautiful spots to take pictures. They also have a food and hot chocolate market, as well as a live Christmas-themed circus-style show.

The splendid Ballet Folklorico de Mexico of Amalia Hernandez puts on this traditional show. The venue is the always beautiful Chapultepec Castle. 15. El Sótano
Ana Claudia Talancón and Luis Felipe Tovar star in this play about a woman who moves into a building where strange things happen.
