The season begins in which we pay tribute to those who are no longer in this world, and what better way to remember them than with music and dance. This Day of the Dead, the Ballet Folklorico de Amalia Hernandez will give an unforgettable show at the Chapultepec Forest!
The presentation is called La muerte en México está más viva que nunca (Death in Mexico is more alive than ever) and will have performances for a short season: from October 30 to November 2, 2025.
The dancers on stage will interpret some of Mexico’ s Day of the Dead traditions, such as legends, feasts and rituals. The choreography includes acts about the legend of La Llorona.

Tribute will also be paid to traditions in the states of Veracruz, Jalisco, Michoacán and Oaxaca. As if that weren’t enough, the presentation will feature choreography from the show La vida es juego, where the ballet intertwines love and death through body movement.
Of course, the scenery will be decorated with altars and offerings.
