Spend a morning full of culture and art with the Alameda-Revolución Museum Circuit. This is a free guided tour in which you will visit several museums while they explain more about their history and everything that is in them.
Among the museums you will visit are the Museo de Arte Popular, the Museo del Pulque y las Pulquerías, Museo del Tequila y el Mezcal, Museo Nacional de San Carlos and the Museo del Banco de México, to name a few.
Some venues have an entrance fee; however, you will be able to enter for free while on the circuit. Space is limited, so try to arrive early.
When is the February museum circuit in CDMX?
The appointment is this Saturday, February 22 at 10:30 in the morning. The tour starts at 11:00 a.m. but you should arrive half an hour earlier to register. This time there will be six routes:
- Route 1: Perfume Museum, Museo del Estanquillo and Laboratorio Arte Alameda.
- Route 2: Telegraph Museum, National Museum of Architecture and National Museum of the Revolution.
- Route 3: San Carlos National Museum, Diego Rivera Mural Museum and Tequila and Mezcal Museum.
- Route 4: Memory and Tolerance Museum, Postal Palace Museum and Bank of Mexico Museum.
- Route 5: Casa Carranza Museum, Munae and Folk Art Museum.
- Route 6: Casa de la Cultura Postal, Museo Kaluz and Museo del Pulque y las Pulquerías.
To register, just arrive at 10:30 a.m. at the first museum of the chosen route. Each tour will have a limited capacity of 30 people, so arrive early to make sure you get a place.
We also recommend that you wear comfortable clothes, as the tour usually lasts about three hours and the transfer from one site to another is on foot.
