The Festival de Flores de Cempasúchil 2025 is already in Reforma! Starting this Friday, October 17, you will find plenty of cempasúchil, as well as other types of plants and items for your Day of the Dead offering.
Paseo de la Reforma is filled with flowers, and we’re not just referring to the ones you’ll see as part of the traditional decoration, but cempasúchil will be sold for a little more than two weeks during this festival.
When will be the Festival de Flores de Cempasúchil in Reforma this 2025?
According to Mexico City’s Ministry of Tourism, this marigold festival will take place from October 17 to November 2. You will be able to visit it from 10:00 to 20:00 hours.
It will be located on Paseo de la Reforma, between the Angel of Independence and the Glorieta del Ahuehuete, in the Cuauhtemoc district. In addition to many flowers you will find various items ideal for your ofrenda.
It is important to mention that the flowers that will be sold come from the conservation land of Mexico City.
And while you’re on Paseo de la Reforma, don’t forget that starting this Friday, October 17, you will also see the light exhibition “Solo la luz” (Only the light), which will have illuminated figures. You will see a moon, alebrije and even pieces that make reference to Day of the Dead. It will be open from October 17 to 29.
Also, from October 18 to November 9 you will be able to see the alebrijes that will participate in the October 18 parade in Reforma. They will be between the Angel de la Independencia and the Estela de la Luz.
