The Day of the Dead is drawing ever closer, and—we know you—you’re already picturing yourself enjoying a pan de muerto dipped in warm chocolate. Mexico City has plenty of places to do just that, but the Coffee, Chocolate, and Pan de Muerto Festival is an event where you’ll have over a hundred opportunities to enjoy these fall classics.
This cultural and culinary event will take place on October 24 and 25, 2026, at the Glaxo Theater at Tec de Monterrey (CDMX campus), located at Calzada México Xochimilco 4864, across from the Xomali light rail station. Admission is free, and the event runs from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
A Decade of Coffee Culture and Day of the Dead Tradition
It’s worth noting that this year marks the tenth anniversary of this event, which features coffees from different regions of Mexico, cacao, chocolate, handicrafts, and a large food court.
New activities are added every year, and this time there will be an immersive experience, along with a parade of catrinas and live music.
As if that weren’t enough, the venue will feature a picnic area so you can enjoy your food right there.
