At these collection centers, you can join the effort to help Venezuela!
Following the earthquakes that struck the country on June 24, those affected need basic supplies such as non-perishable food, medicine, and personal hygiene products.
From Mexico City, you can help by making donations, which will be collected at various locations throughout the capital. Here’s a list of some of them—remember, every little bit helps!

Bottled water, canned food that hasn’t expired, personal hygiene items, diapers, first-aid supplies, and hand tools for debris removal are the items being requested by the University of Mexico (UNAM).
The Topos Tlaltelolco Rescue Brigade, A.C., is requesting more than thirty items, including non-perishable food, tools for rescue workers, and supplies for the general public.
Some of these items include: sanitary pads, powdered milk, energy bars and nuts, boots, helmets, gloves, whistles, neck braces, and stretchers, among others. Please note: bottled water, clothing, and shoes are not accepted.
Starting June 29, a new collection center will open at Isabel La Católica 247, Obrera, Cuauhtémoc, which will accept only medical supplies. Hours: Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The third collection center will be located at Isabel La Católica 542, Álamos, Benito Juárez, and will only accept food and beverages, Monday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Iztapalapa City Hall
On the district’s esplanade, as well as at the territorial offices, they will accept non-perishable food, personal hygiene items, medical supplies, sheets, blankets, mats, and cleaning supplies.
Please note that bottled water, clothing, and cash donations will not be accepted. You can visit Monday through Sunday, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Tlalpan City Hall
Canned food that hasn’t expired, personal hygiene products, and cleaning supplies will be collected on the esplanade of the Tlalpan City Hall. This collection center will be open from June 29 to July 5, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
