Let’s close out April with a concert featuring works by Beethoven and other composers in the Historic Center. This event will be led by the Bellas Artes Madrigal Choir. Keep an eye out for the details so you don’t miss it.
In Mexico City, there’s always something to do: experiences, tours, and, of course, classical music concerts. On this occasion, you’ll enjoy the magnificent voices of the members of the Bellas Artes Choir.
The show , titled “German Romanticism,” will be conducted by Eduardo Díaz Cerón; actress Mariajose Brunet will also participate. Works by Rheinberger, Bruch, Schubert, and Beethoven will be performed.
When will the Beethoven concert take place in the Historic Center?
There will be two performances in April. The first will be on Friday, April 24, at 6:00 p.m. at the Universidad del Claustro de Sor Juana (Izazaga 92, Historic Center). Admission is free; however, seating is limited, so you should arrive early to secure a seat.
If you can’t make it to that concert, don’t worry—there will be a second performance on Sunday, April 26, at 12:00 p.m. at the Colegio de San Ildefonso (Justo Sierra 16, Historic Center). Tickets cost $50 per person and can be purchased online.
There will also be a Mozart and Beethoven concert in Mexico City
In May, there will be a concert featuring Beethoven and Mozart; it is a candlelight concert focused on these composers. It will take place at Chapultepec Castle on May 21 and June 25 at 8:00 p.m.
This is a candlelit concert in which musicians will perform iconic pieces by both composers live. You’ll hear iconic pieces in one of Mexico City’s most important venues.
Ticket prices start at $935 ( plus service fees). You can get your tickets here.
