Are enchiladas your favorite dish, and can you never resist a quesadilla or a sope? The time of year when we enjoy Mexican cuisine the most has begun: chiles en nogada, pozole, the first panes de muerto, and coming up next… the Corn, Enchilada, and Snack Festival!
Get ready to let loose, because the Iztapalapa City Hall plaza will host a delicious gathering of chefs, food vendors, and one-of-a-kind recipes. The call for participants was posted on the district’s Facebook page, specifying that this event will take place from September 27 to October 4, 2026.
There will be delicious food everywhere; the dishes presented must meet quality and price standards, and they must also be original and prepared using agroecological ingredients.
The Corn, Enchilada, and Snacks Festival will be part of the celebrations for National Corn Day, which is observed on September 29. Is there a better way to join the party than with delicious food?
If you love red enchiladas, gratinated enchiladas, or any dish made with corn, mark your calendars for late September and early October, and join this feast.
