Chapultepec Forest will celebrate Day of the Dead 2025 in a big way. This year you will be able to participate in a nighttime ride or join the popular verbena.
The allusive activities will take place from October 31 to November 2, at the Paseo de los Compositores in the Second Section.
The celebration is called “Cuando muera la tarde” (When the afternoon dies) and includes a night drive to the Panteón de Dolores, live music and an offering contest. Without further ado, here is the program by day.
October 31st
- Nighttime ride with costume contest ⏰ 18:00 to 21:00 📍 from the Glorieta de la Lealtad to the Panteón de Dolores.
- Popular Verbena ⏰ 18:00 to 22:00
November 1st
- Offertory contest ⏰ 21:00
- Live musical show ⏰ 18:00 to 22:00

November 2nd
- Exposition of offerings ⏰ 8:00 to 16:00
Remember that on November 1 the Great Day of the Dead Parade will take place from Puerta de los Leones de Chapultepec to the capital’s Zócalo. Find out the route and schedule here.
