Get on your bike and dare to pedal among tombs! This Halloween there will be a bike ride from the Bosque de Chapultepec to the Panteón de Dolores, where you can also win a bike!
Among the Day of the Dead and Halloween activities is “Entre tumbas y pedales” (Between Tombs and Pedals). This is a ride where you can participate with your best costume. You can also decorate your bike.
The date is this Friday, October 31, at 5:00 pm. The starting point is the Glorieta de la Lealtad ( in Los Pinos) and the finish line is the historic Panteón de Dolores.
When you arrive at the cemetery, you will enjoy an atmospheric route. To close with a flourish, a movie alluding to the Day of the Dead will be shown. Please note, the internal route is not suitable for minors.
How can I participate in the bike ride to the cemetery?
This activity is free of charge; however, you must register beforehand here. Please note that space is limited to 200 people and you will be provided with a protective helmet. Minors must be accompanied by their parents or guardians.
If you prefer, you can participate in the contest. You can choose between the categories: “Bike from beyond” (of decorated bicycles) and “Most creative costume on wheels”. The best ones will win a bike!
Please note that only 100 registered participants will be able to participate in the contest. You do not need to register for the contest to participate in the ride.
And don’t worry if you don’t have a bike, it will be available for loan. Loans are subject to availability, which will be confirmed via WhatsApp.
