The jacaranda trees are already painting the streets lilac, the sun is shining, and that can only mean one thing… Spring 2026 is about to begin! The Monument to the Revolution will welcome you with the Festival of Flowers, an event that will transform it into a beautiful garden of aromas and species.
On March 20, 21, and 22, the Plaza de la República will be decked out in the colors of nature. A monumental teporingo made of flowers will welcome you to this event. We recommend you bring your catwalk smile and your best attitude so you don’t miss the opportunity to take a photo with this piece.
Go without haste and with an open mind, as there will also be an interactive museum where you can learn more about edible flowers: your dishes can look like a garden!
If you still can’t find the perfect excuse to attend this festival, you should know that 100 flower growers from the Conservation Land will be gathering here to sell flowers and plants of different species.
Concerts at the 2026 Flower Festival at the Monument to the Revolution

It should be noted that this event is part of the Spring Night program that will be held at different locations in Mexico City, including the Zócalo. Mark your calendars, as you will enjoy different activities on March 21 and 22. Don’t forget that the 21st is the Grand Ball of Sonideros and Sonideras!
The program includes various free concerts. At the Monument to the Revolution, Los Lobos, Cecilia Toussaint, Guillermo Briseño, and Kerigma will set the mood.
Spring is the best time to show off our most colorful and fresh clothes, enjoy a lemon snow cone, and, of course, contemplate the wonders of nature. Stop getting hot at home and run to this festival that will awaken all your senses.
