Get the popcorn ready! In the Historic Center of CDMX there will be a free screening ofLos sustos ocultos de Frankelda (or Soy Frankelda) Remember that this is the first Mexican stop motion movie, so you can’t miss it.
The screening will be this Wednesday, October 29, at 4:30 pm. The José Martí Cultural Center will become a movie theater to celebrate the premiere of this film directed by Arturo & Roy Ambriz.
You can invite all your family and friends! Remember that this venue is located on the corner of Dr. Mora and Hidalgo Ave. 1, Centro Histórico; Hidalgo Metro station is the closest one.

Don’t worry if you don’t have the opportunity to attend the screening at the Centro Cultural José Martí. Next Saturday, October 18, the Utopia Atzintli will screen the film at 6:00 pm.
This space is located at Av. Ermita Iztapalapa s/n, Xalapa, Iztapalapa. The screening will be in front of the children’s playground.
What is this film about?

The film tells the story of a ghost who writes horror stories in the Kingdom of Nightmares. She will have to scare real-life boys and girls to prevent the world of monsters from disappearing.
Frankelda’s Hidden Frights is the first Mexican stop motion film, a landmark event in Mexican cinema. To celebrate it, the Cineteca Nacional México mounted an exhibition with real sets and puppets.
You can visit it from Tuesday to Sunday, from 12:00 to 20:00 hours. Admission for adults is $50, while children pay $35. Don’t miss it!
