If the Force has been with you since the last century, this event is sure to be the highlight of your weekend. You’re not in another galaxy: there will be a free Star Wars symphony concert in Mexico City.
Get ready to become a Jedi and join the show that the Mexico City Symphonic Band will present this Sunday, April 26, at 2:00 p.m. It will be a tribute to composer John Williams, who immortalized the musical works of the saga.
It’s worth noting that this concert will bring the tenth edition of Expo Star Wars at the Futurama Cultural Center to a spectacular close.
The program also features rock bands, lightsaber battles, cosplayers, and the presence of voice actor Sebastián Llapur, who lent his voice to the character of Darth Vader in the Spanish-dubbed version. Activities begin at 11:00 a.m.
Whether you want to join the symphonic concert, enjoy the iconic themes in a rock version, or get excited by the lightsabers, this free event will be the perfect gathering spot for Star Wars fans. We don’t have to meet in a galaxy far, far away, but rather at Otavalo 7 at the corner of Av. IPN, Lindavista, Gustavo A. Madero!
