There are still two performances left to see Fridas! This is a play inspired by the life and work of the painter Frida Kahlo. A high quality artistic performance awaits you, and you won’t spend your savings!
This performance is based on the writings left by the artist. On stage, the most significant stages of her life are interpreted; drama, illness, romance, and nostalgia are some of the emotions that take the stage.
The play is a production of the Compañía Teatral Viejo Coliseo and can be seen on July 20 and 27 at 1:00 pm.

The best stage to pay tribute is the Foro Polivalente Antonieta Rivas Mercado, of the emblematic Biblioteca de México José Vasconcelos. Keep in mind that this space has 172 seats, so seating is limited.
We recommend attending one hour in advance to ensure your admission. The Biblioteca de México is located at De la Ciudadela 4, Centro. The nearest Metro and Metrobus stations are Balderas.
In addition to the play, in CDMX there are other options to discover the life of Frida Kahlo.
This Mexican painter had a fascinating life, which she left captured in writings, photographs and, of course, brushstrokes.
In Mexico City there are many places that pay tribute to her; places where you can get to know her beyond her artistic works.
One of these options is Diego and Frida: A Universe, an exhibition in which you will see around 300 photographs of Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera. All through videomapping and sound effects.

This experience is located at the Porrúa bookstore in Centro Histórico (República de Argentina 15), and you can get your tickets here.
You can also attend Frida Kahlo: The Immersive Biography. As the name suggests, this is an immersive experience dedicated to her life.
With virtual reality, original music and holograms you will get to know the painter in different facets. The exhibition is located at Laguna de Términos 260, Mariano Escobedo. Find your tickets here.
