Generous, very generous! La Del Valle has a gastronomic gem that you must know: La Doña. A street stall where they prepare tortas of up to half a kilo. The Cubana is the house specialty with leg, ham, milanesa, chorizo and a gratin of three cheeses. Although you can also opt for the marinated leg or Canadian loin.

4. The madness of El Estudiante cake
Stop by for your giant cake before class! The cake paradise, located in Roma, is this one with HUGE preparations! The funniest thing is that the recipes are named after artists, bands and Mexican cultural references such as: cubrebocas, Molotov, Aventurera and even Niurka.

Abundant portions at affordable prices, the option you are looking for to survive the end of the fortnight. Don’t expect to have a monumental cake on your plate, but a very generous one that can serve up to two people. It all depends on how hungry you are. We recommend you try the Cubana with a mixture of meats or the Norteña with leg, chorizo and quesillo.

6. El Recreo

The business has been operating since 1961, a guarantee that they are experts in the preparation of this dish. Don’t leave without trying the legendary strawberry water.
