In early December 2025, Ilumina Fest will arrive at the Aragon Forest. It is an event that will bring activities ranging from outdoor cinema to neon gotcha. Admission is free, but some experiences will have a cost. Here we bring you all the information about it.
Ilumina Fest is a light festival that will have several attractions, starting with illuminated paths and figures ($100 per person). In addition, there will be two immersive experiences: the first will be inspired by The Little Prince, while the second will be about Krampus.
In addition, you will find a neon gotcha area. You will be able to practice this activity in a different way. It is worth mentioning that these activities cost $50 each (except gotcha, which costs $40 per person).
When is Ilumina Fest at Bosque de Aragón?
This event will only last two days: December 6 and 7. It will take place from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm at the Bosque de San Juan de Aragón. The entrance will be right at access 8. The event will be located next to the mechanical games of the place. Regarding the free activities, there will be a lot of music and outdoor cinema.
Of course, there will be a food and bazaar area. Each dish and item will have a different cost. Don’t forget to prepare your camera so you can take pictures on the illuminated paths. We also recommend you to wear comfortable shoes, as you will be walking for quite a while during the event. Tickets for the activities with cost are already on sale online.
Light experience in Chapultepec
If light experiences are your thing, this event will interest you. A few weeks ago Light Cycles was inaugurated, a light show in Chapultepec, which has been presented in several countries such as Japan, Chile and the United States.
There are five multisensory zones that will make you feel like you are in a magical forest. You can visit Light Cycles on weekends. You can get your tickets here.
