Dates, times and cost to meet the dead in Los Muertos at Centart
They say that the dead are not completely gone and their voices can still be heard among the living. This belief is precisely the theme of the immersive theater play Los Muertos that will be at Cenart on October 30 and 31 at 8:00 pm in the Teatros de las Artes.
In the play there will be a pantheon with open coffins with the dead played by talented actors. Each of the deceased, from their graves, will be immobile, but they will speak to you directly with their looks and voices.
With humor and irony, the dead will tell you different stories about what it is like to die in different episodes of Mexican history, from the time of the Revolution to the present.
Among the fantastic characters that will make you reflect on death in Mexican culture are an Adelita, soldiers from the Battle of Juarez and even a scared dead man.
This staging that takes the audience to be part of the stage is directed by Sébastien Lange and is from the company Telón de Arena.
Tickets cost $250 per person. Your ticket to this show will not only be to be a spectator, but will make you part of the play itself because you will dialogue with the dead face to face, do you dare to listen to those who have already departed?
