The 2026 Japanese Spring Festival in Mexico City is coming soon! Not only will you celebrate the arrival of spring, but there will also be a celebration for Children’s Day, and you’ll learn more about Japan without leaving the city. Keep an eye on the details because the event will only last two days.
On April 18 and 19, Haru Matsuri will take place, a spring festival featuring everything from Japanese cuisine and immersive experiences to karaoke and live music. Various items will also be on sale.
It’s worth noting that the celebration will be a double event, as Kodomo No Hi (Children’s Day) will also be celebrated. The organizers have announced that there will be many surprises for the little ones.
How much does it cost to attend the 2026 Japanese Spring Festival in Mexico City?
On this occasion, a one-day ticket for the event will cost $120 during the presale (until April 17 or while supplies last), while children under 12 will enter for free. Just a heads-up: if you’re bringing children, you must request the complimentary tickets when you purchase your tickets. Space is limited, so be sure to reserve your spot. You can purchase your tickets online or at the venue.
Throughout the day, there will be activities such as musical performances and workshops. As in previous years, the event will take place at the Mexico-Japan Association, located at Fujiyama 144, Las Águilas. It will run from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
